Gorlech Trail
There are several trails ideal for Mountain Biking in the Brechfa Forest. The Gorlech Trail red route, starting in Abegorlech, in my view is the best. It is like riding a roller coaster on your Mountain Bike! Hill climbs rewarded with great down hill runs with table tops, berms, and technical twists and turns. If you focus on one trail it should be this one.
Our cottage is 2 minutes from the start of the mountain bike trail.

Byrgwm Trail - 15 minutes on your mountain bike, 5 minutes with your car. This hosts the blue, green and black route. The blue and green are fun and easy flowing. The Raven black route, is hard work. Not for the novice, and less constructed than the red route.
